Why we don't give access to your root server
At LinQhost we do not offer root or sudo access to our servers. This is because we only offer managed hosting services. This means that we manage and maintain your server, so that we can ensure that everything is safe, stable and performs optimally.
We work according to fixed methods to be able to offer these guarantees. By having root access ourselves, we can keep a close eye on all systems and act quickly in case of problems.
Do you want to make changes?
If you think that specific changes are needed, you can of course always discuss this with us. We will then look together whether the adjustments are feasible and whether they have no negative consequences for the security, stability or performance of the server.
